Seen - A Brand New Audio Series

Jada has never been an actor. That was always her sister’s thing. But now her sister is gone. Struggling to understand, she decides to audition for her new school’s production of 'Twelfth Night.' However, once there she finds far more than she’s been looking for. Through Shakespeare’s text, Jada is able to learn about herself and how to navigate through her mixed feelings of grief, guilt, resentment, and love.

This eight-episode audio series set in 2006 will be produced and recorded virtually and released in weekly installments on Theatre Goes On’s YouTube channel and Spotify in Late 2023.

AUDITION INFORMATION

If you are interested in auditioning, please send an email to ecclestonrules@gmail.com letting us know and we will respond shortly with more information and audition sides (script extracts). From these the actor may record themself performing the lines of the character and send back to us. If possible, actor should get another individual to read the lines of other characters within each side. If this is not possible actor should simply leave space where other characters’ lines occur. Self-tape files should preferably be in either wav or mp3 format.

After auditioning, actors may be asked to attend a live callback held on Zoom scheduled at a convenient time for both parties. At this callback, the actor will be asked to do some additional reading.

Please keep in mind that all provided script documents (primarily sides) are confidential. Please do not share them or any details from them with anyone besides a parent (and only if you are under 18).
